Labourer

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labouring duties to support construction activities.
- Assist tradespeople such as carpenters, bricklayers, groundworkers, and plumbers.
- Load and unload deliveries, move building materials, and clear waste to maintain a tidy site.
- Keep walkways, work areas, and skips clean; segregate and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Use basic hand tools including shovels, wheelbarrows, brooms, and breakers (where permitted).
- Follow supervisor instructions and work at a steady pace to meet project deadlines.
- Comply with PPE requirements, site signage, and safety briefings.
- Support manual handling, working safely around plant machinery and lifting operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous labouring or site experience preferred.
- Knowledge of safe working practices and basic site safety protocols.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Good timekeeping and a proactive approach to work.
- Awareness of CSCS card requirements and a commitment to health and safety.
