Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor

Konnect Recruit are currently working for a well established client who are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage multiple contracts up to £8 Million pounds. The successful candidate will need to ensure that projects are delivered in line with the company’s financial targets.
Duties include, but not limited to the following:
Preparing monthly valuations to ensure the business receives full payment for all work activities.
To liaise with Clients and their representatives to ensure their requirements are understood and all contract requirements met.
To attend contract meetings both internally, and with our Clients and Sub-contractors to ensure the smooth running of the project.
Improve Contract profitability from tender margins consistently year on year throughout the term of the Contract.
Attend tender handover meetings.
Assist in the negotiation of ‘post tender negotiation’ items with the Client and project team.
Ensure the project team are aware of the preliminary, plant, material, and labour budgets for the project.
Ensure all Contract set-up procedures are followed.
Create a cash flow forecast for the project in line with the project delivery programme.
To regularly review project budgets and provide updates to the Divisional Manager.
To carry out a business case to evaluate the option of either purchase or hire of plant and equipment factoring in maintenance, testing and duration.
