Konnect recruit are currently in the market for an experienced Site Manager to join a highly respected Privately-owned main contractor based in Portsmouth.
As a company they work on projects ranging £50,000 to £5 million in value. These projects will include; High end new build housing, commercial, community buildings, schools, healthcare, pubs to name a few.
The ideal site manager will come from a trade background who has worked his way up through the ranks of construction, with experience of working on a mix of projects.
Your role
- Responsible for the day-to-day running’s of the sites.
- Responsible for maintaining our high standards of quality assurance, health & safety and meeting the project objectives.
- Responsible for the management of our site labourer(s) and the construction delivery of sub-contractor packages on site in accordance with the project programme.
- Responsible for logistical co-ordination of the site including deliveries, storage, welfare, access, security etc
- Responsible for tracking project progress & maintaining documents as part of our compliance standards on cloud-based software.
What you need
- Valid driving license
- Trade background of working on site
- Some understanding of commercially managing a project
- Computer literate and have the ability to learn and implement new technologies
- Appropriate CSCS card, First Aid, SMSTS
